Rupex Growtech Ltd. was registered in New Zealand in 1998. Rupex has maintained NZ GAP registration for more than 10 years and is an Associate member of Horticulture NZ.
Strong Infrastructure and resources
Based on a 25-acre piece of prime agricultural land, greenhouse space of about 10,000 Square meters and ample fresh water supply, it is very well organised to handle commercial volumes.
Leading supplier of nursery plants
Rupex Growtech has emerged as a leading supplier of high-quality planting materials for different annual crops and serves the commercial growers in the Auckland region and afar.
Outdoor vegetable plugs
We produce and supply plug plants for outdoor vegetables against yearly contracts on a wholesale basis. We have successfully serviced our clients over the years and built ourselves as a trustworthy first-step partner in the greens supply chain. Important crops are: Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Lettuce, Chinese greens, Parsley, Silver beet, Celery, etc.
Strawberry plants in trays
We have been producing and supplying strawberry plants in cell trays for hydroponic growers since 2023. We use First-generation tissue-culture mother plants and recommend high health practices to produce high quality plants.
Our Services
Native seedlings
We produce native seedlings in different propagation trays (338s, 200s and 144 plugs). Please place your order well in time as we may have only small numbers available on spec. We use eco-sourced seeds for confirmed orders.
Summer/ hothouse seedlings
We are one of the main producers of watermelon /melons seedlings. Other summer crops we do, are: Capsicums, Chillies, Tomatoes, early pumpkins, courgettes, Egg plants, bitter melons etc.
Other seedlings
Different herbs (Basil, Coriander, Thyme etc), medicinal plants like Echinacea and Withania, cut flower seedlings, Asparagus seedlings from seed, Kumara from tubers etc.
